Do I need to know how to code?
No. Claude writes the code; you direct it. The course assumes zero dev experience and starts at the terminal.
How long is the course?
20 lessons, most between 5 and 17 minutes, so you can watch the full course in about a week. The 24+ hour behind-the-scenes content works to complement the lessons for anyone who wants more depth.
How much time will this take me?
The building happens on your own schedule, roughly 8 hours of practice across four phases, with the real repos, reference files, and skill files to build from. Your first thing ships by lesson eight.
What if I don’t finish?
The practice runs on a real project with real deliverables, and every lesson ends with posting your work in the community. Something of yours is live on the internet by lesson eight, and momentum does the rest.
Do the lessons walk me through every click?
The lessons teach the method: how to spec, how to steer, and how to iterate with precision. The behind-the-scenes content is where you watch every click of the real build, 24+ hours of it. The design exercises are where you make it yours. The split is deliberate, and it's why the exercises are where the course actually lives.
Do I build my own idea or yours?
Both, in order. You build Color Shift first, from the supplied repos, so there's no blank-page stall and nothing touches your company's work. Then the same method runs on whatever you want to ship next. The lessons on speccing and context are written for exactly that.
Can I just learn for free on YouTube?
You can, and plenty do. Free tutorials teach whatever tool is popular this month, and that knowledge expires. The eye and the method transfer to every tool that comes next, and that's the part worth paying for.
Can I get only this individual course?
No. The Claude Code training ships as part of one Shift Nudge membership, together with the full UI training, the Portfolio Workshop, the critique vault, and the community. The skills compound. The eye from the UI training is what makes the building here good.
Is this tool training I’ll outgrow?
The method outlasts the tools: specs, context, judgment. That layer keeps its value no matter what ships next.
What do I need besides the membership?
